Post blog 4 # Locus of Control
Locus of Control
These two videos offer a insightful explanation of Rotter's Locus of Control. Our Locus of Control can be considered a sliding scale with individuals operating from either an internal, or external perspective. However, there is always one dominant side. A person with an individual with an internal locus takes responsibility for their own actions, and gauges how they are affected by their environment. An individual with an external locus of control is a powerless person, and they will try to make other people responsible for their happiness.
